Brattleboro Museum & Art Center

A private, non-profit organization founded in 1972, BMAC is a non-collecting museum which produces frequently changing exhibitions of current art. BMAC's gallery is open to the public from May-December. Call ahead.

Gallery Walk

Gallery Walk is a "festive stroll" that takes place on the first Friday of each month from 5:30 to 8:30 PM in downtown Brattleboro, Vt. and nearby locations. Participating venues vary from month to month.

Hooker Dunham Theater & Gallery

The Hooker Dunham Theater & Gallery in Brattleboro offers both performing and visual art. With a 100-seat theater and a 1200 square-foot gallery The Hooker Dunham is a venue of choice for theater, film, music, dance and literary events, as well as works by local and visiting artists.

Keene Cinemas

Newly renovated, with digital surround sound, Cheshire County's premier movie theater offers patrons a complete sensory experience.

Latchis Theatre

The Latchis Theatre hosts three movie theaters. Plans are in the works for live shows on special occasions. The movie listings with reviews are online as well.

Marlboro Music Festival

Each summer in July and August, the Marlboro Music Festival offers talented young music professionals the opportunity to join master concert artists on the campus of Marlboro College in Marlboro, Vermont.

Sandglass Theater

Putney, Vermont's Sandglass Theater is an internationally known theater company specializing in the use of puppets and visual imagery. Since 1982, the company’s productions have toured 24 countries, performing in theaters, festivals and cultural institutions, and winning international prizes. Sandglass Theater produces works for both adult and young audiences.

Vermont Theatre Company

The Vermont Theatre Company is a community based theater company that performs in many theaters in the greater Brattleboro area, featuring a cast and crew from Southern VT, the Keene, NH area, and the Greenfield/Northampton, MA area.

Yellow Barn Music School and Festival

Founded in 1969, Yellow Barn in Putney, Vermont is a chamber music school and festival with a faculty and guest artist group of international renown. Each summer, some 45 gifted students and young professionals gather to study and present more than 30 public concerts during the five-week season.
