There are lots of activities and area attractions to suit everyone's taste at Hinsdale Campground. In addition to our
onsite activities, there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. Be sure to check out our Event Calendar with a complete listing of special events throughout the camping season.
On-Site Activities
At the Campground we have swimming, softball, basketball, horseshoes and bocce.
On hot days you can cool off in our 30' by 60' swimming pool, while
the kids splash around in our kiddie pool. |
Kiddie Playground
The children can also play tetherball, go bicycling, or enjoy the swingset and merry-go-round in our secure
playground.

Special Events for Children
Throughout the season the campground has special events just for kids. Every Saturday afternoon there's arts and
crafts at the Pavilion for kids of all ages.
We hold an Easter Egg Hunt, a Kiddie Carnival with games, races and prizes in July. Halloween comes early at
Hinsdale, and so does the Christmas season!
In August we have a Halloween Parade with trick or treating on the campground. And Santa makes a special appearance
for Christmas in August. Each camper brings a Christmas present to the office and Santa delivers them to the campground. |

Nightime Activities
Join fellow campers for starlit evenings under our spacious pavilion complete with a fireplace.
Or enjoy an evening gathered around the campfire with family and friends.
